Photosynth is a creative mixture of two independent breakthroughs: the ability to reconstruct the scene or object in 3D from a bunch of flat photographs, and the technology to bring that experience to virtually anyone over the Internet. Photosynth constitute an entirely new visual medium. Photosynth analyzes each photo for similarities to the others, and uses that data to build a model of where the photos were taken and then re-creates a three-dimensional environment.

Using techniques from the field of computer vision, Photosynth examines images for similarities to each other and uses that information to estimate the shape of the subject and the vantage point the photos were taken from. With this information, we recreate the space and use it as a canvas to display and navigate through the photos.

You can share or relive a vacation destination or explore a distant museum or landmark. With a nothing more than your digital camera , you can use Photosynth to transform regular digital photos into a three-dimensional, 360-degree experience. Anybody who sees your synth can sharing in your experience with detail and scope.

Photosynth has been created by the guys from Microsoft Live Labs .

Photosynth only works with Windows XP or Vista and requires a minimum of 256 MB of RAM although 1GB is recommended.

FileZilla is a powerful, cross-platform graphical FTP, FTPS and SFTP client a lot of features, supporting Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and more.  Filezilla, released under General Public License (GPL) is one of the faster FTP available. FileZilla Server also is a reliable FTP server for Windows.

Syncplicity is one simple and good option to make backups of your files.

After installation,  a small special software  will analyze the selected content and will perform backup of the  files on the Web section of the application. You can access from anywhere to archives stored there, using the address my.syncplicity.com.

The program will detect any changes in the files directory and upload the latest versions automatically.

This option not only makes backups on the Internet, you can also synchronize content between one or more computers. The free version allows synchronization between two computers and a space online until 2 GB of free online storage. Syncplicity can add any folder to your Syncplicity syncs.

The biggest drawback to Syncplicity right now is its lack of a Mac client, but one is in the works and slated for September.
